What was the original Dexcom called?
Dexcom was founded in 1999 and launched the Dexcom STS Continuous Glucose Monitoring System (CGM) 2006, which is a three-day sensor that provides up to 288 glucose measurements for a day.
CGM – continous glucose monitor is a device worn on your body (usually arm or belly) which measures glucose level every couple of minutes. There are 4 major CGMs Dexcom, Freestyle Libre, Medtronic and Eversense.
